Posted By: John S
Definitely one of my favorite types of vintage football collectibles. The example below is a complete program (two pages shown) with a great shot of Nevers in an Eskimos uniform.

Posted By: Michael Moran
Here's one I'm really happy to have - I think Jack McBride deserves more recognition as a pioneer in early football - QB of the first Giants team in 1925 and of the first Giants championship team in 1927 - I have a number of older programs on my website http://pages.prodigy.net/revmoran/index.html

Posted By: Michael Moran
I believe I got that from the Hall of Fame in Canton - I have not run into anyone who has a copy. My father was also on a program cover on Nov. 22, 1931 when Green Bay came to play at the Polo Grounds - that took about six years to find and the owner, who has a sports bar near Green Bay, wouldn't sell it - I was able to buy a copy of the Green Bay at the Giants from 1929 with Friedman on the cover and make a trade for the program with my father.

Posted By: Michael Moran
Years ago I contacted the archivist at the Hall of Frame to see what pictures of my father were in their files and they sent me some scans and I paid for some copies - but later I believe the HOF stopped doing that and now you have to go through NFL Properties for copies of photographs. However, I think if you go to the HOF library you might find they will make copies of material for you there.
