1905 Boston Jersey on Legendary
 

I was watching this with interest after recognizing the jersey from when it sold on eBay several weeks ago.

Would you get it restored?

Seems like a stretch to me. The O is totally different style.

Great find, great flip...if i were the consignor I'd send the eBay seller a nice gift, but that's just me.

I think the price reflects a certain leap of faith, and the fact is was on Legendary. If it retained more/any of the lettering and could be better matched, and put in REA (for example), would see it going much higher.

I don't feel there is anything to restore. It's plain looking in current state, but wouldn't call it an eyesore. If one were to restore it by replacing the lettering, I feel that would completely ruin it and worsen value. It is what it is and you have to appreciatte it for being a Beaneaters jersey (if that is what it is). It's a true relic - very cool.
