One Football Wish ...
What's the one football item you wish Santa would bring you this year?
jeff P.S. Merry Christmas everybody!!!!! |
A Lombardi for the Vikings.

Hard to narrow down to just one item.
As far as memorabilia: I would love to have a 1963 Chargers team signed ball or a game worn helmet from that season. As for cards: A Brown, Unitas, or Starr rookie in about exmt condition. |
Another Tide National Championship! ROLL TIDE and Merry Christmas to all:)

Now that the Bills knocked Baltimore out of the playoffs (with a little help from Cincinnati) that Dan McKee unloads his Silber’s Cards. PS Try the link on your mobile device https://www.instagram.com/p/BdY40j5A_0j/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I didn't realize that there were this many Chargers fans/collectors left in the world, after the Spanos debacle of 2017.

Oh, I am definitely NOT a fan of the current LA Judases (as Nick Canepa likes to say). I was born and raised in San Diego County (Santee), a die-hard Chargers fan. The glory years of Air Coryell (and the not so glorious years under Svare and Prothro) are when I grew up. I also have a healthy love of the AFL years. My first job was working at the Chargers' games in 1981/82 for Ace Parking. I left San Diego in 1985 when I joined the US Air Force. I would love to go back home, but the current cost of living is just too expensive for me to survive. The only way I will come back to the current Chargers, is if the Spanii sell the team, and the new owner moves them back to San Diego. Steve |
Yeah, a lot of Chargers fans here. I've been a fan since the Epic in Miami, and still a fan. I grew up in NJ so I don't have an inherent SD connection and haven't taken to hating the team as most of my SD friends have. (was a rough season for me in that regard).
As for Spanos selling, i guess that's a possibility. But I don't think they'll ever move back, at least not in the next decade. It just doesn't make any fiscal sense. The more likely scenario is the LA Chargers changing their name and SD being given a new team by the NFL and i'm not sure I'd hold my breath on that one. |
