1883 SUI (U. of Iowa) Baseball team Cabinet photo F/S
Posted By: <b>Keith</b><p>I have the following 1883 State University of Iowa Baseball team photo for sale. The photo is a panel card type photo and measures 13 inches by 7 3/4 inches. The photo is marked on the bottom SUI 1883, and the players are numbered on front and id'd on the reverse. The back reads 1883 SUI (now the University of Iowa Hawkeyes) baseball team. and it has 9 names listed including positions and hometowns. It also mentions its 2 wins vs. Cornell and Iowa College and 0 losses. Lastly the photo is signed by one of the players written: Compliments of J L Teiters '86. The photo shows great detail and resolution in perseon, and shows great equipment inluding several ring bats.
