Has anyone seen this PC before? Bought it at antique show today from a little old lady and paid a decent amount of money for it. Any help would be appreciated.

I do not know much information on it, but being from the Chicago area that is one nice looking postcard! Great pick up!

thanks
I am trying to find information about he park and the teams that played there. Not alot to go on. The man on the horse in the backround is cool. Caught my eye right off.
Received a few e-mails that similiar PCs are on ebay for around 10-40 bucks. Thanks for the help. I still like it but might have overpaid a tab. Oh well. Thanks for the help guys |
As you might imagine since I collect Lincoln baseball memorabilia this postcard shows up in my ebay searches all the time. It is very common.

Thanks Dan
I noticed it on ebay. I appreciate the post and all of the pms. I overpaid by 40 bucks. Oh well. Thanks for all the help.

Semi-pro ball was very big in Chicago at that time. Some of the teams featured former major leaguers, and game stories and box scores regularly appeared in the newspapers. That is likely what is depicted here.

I could not get a starting $14.50 bid on the same PC when I listed it last month--so back to my consignor it went.
