I know the answer just wanted to see if you all know...

never seen it but...

I haven't ever seen this card before, but here's another this seller sold - looks like SGC changed their holders

My mistake, it's SCG. Their flip looks surprisingly similar to the folder labels we use on files in the office.

I'd say bad, but it's just a guess since I don't know the card. He also just bought it from someone else on 11/1 and yet in his description he says it was "found in large collection". Super fishy dude.

I think I might miss out on some deals due to an overly skeptical eye but probably get saved from some bad beats as well.

Frank, the dude coulda have had 10 complete sets in their "whole" form w/o the postmortem signature for about the same price. I'm going with "Bad Buy"

Bad buy.;)

Rhett got it right :)

The card is 1/4th of a 1977 Jim Rowe 4-in-1 Exhibit card, quite a few years after Cobb was alive.

Kinda good fake sig though...

I think the signature could be good since he's still signing for the Roaches Corner Auctions........

I certainly haven't seen it all but as an addicted type card collector, I am always skeptical of cards I have never seen before. regards

I was going to say bad because of teh following:

1) Decent condition Ty Cobb card selling for only $103.51 dollars

2) Possibly autographed.

3) Seller says he found it in large collection

4) Seller doesn't know what it is.

5) Seller said no return on item.

6) Seller is from Ohio.

To me, it would seem ANY card of Ty Cobb, if original, from his playing days and in that condition, would garner a high bid of more than $103.51, even if the autograph were fake. Add in all the other red flags and I would have stayed away from it.

Now, somebody needs to e mail the buyer and tell them the sad news and maybe they can get their money back.

David
