Cuban Card ID?
 

These might be cuts from ads, I am not sure. They are on thin paper (yes, thin paper :)) type stock and are very small, approx. 1 1/2" x 1"....and hand cut. I believe they are thought to be Cuban but I guess could be from some other country. I got them from a well known dealer on ebay and I believe he got them from a well known auction house. Even if they are only cut outs it's fine, as they weren't very costly. Any help will be appreciated on identifying them. regards

Have a similar one. I posted on the postwar side for any ideas as to what this might be. Frank Ward was only responder, says he never seen it before. I agree with Frank, the A on his hat would be consistent with Almendares from Cuba. Based on years Pellagrini played, it would be from 40's to 50's in origin. Looks like it could be from an album.

The middle one is 1955-56 Caramelos Stadium.

The other two are 1949-50 Ortopedia Diaz which there are 7 known examples of.

Thanks Ryan and thanks other guys......I acquire stuff I don't have then put it in the to-do box, several month later I have you guys to help figure out what the heck it is. Drinks for everyone at the Net54baseball National Dinner!!

Here are scans of the front and back covers of the album all 7 cards were found in. There are numbered and named spaces for 107 cards. 27 each for Habana, Almendares and Marianao. 26 for Cienfuegos.

I'm guessing Jose Diaz was a baseball fan and made the cards and album himself to promote his business.
