T206 magazine cut outs

I found a stack of T206 repros that were cut out of a magazine of some kind. Judging by the print and pictures on the backs, it looks like this was a late 1950s or early 1960s magazine. Maybe life or look?

Does anyone know the exact magazine that has actual size T206 repros printed within its pages?

thanks
dan

Well, are you going to share the magazine name that you have the full page from there?

I have one single fold out page and this is it on one of the four sides. It has a baseball article on the back (and is page 42). It is 11 x 17 and has a few references to the 1947 season so it could be from 1948. Sorry I can't help more. I have no idea why I have this sheet laying around.

To be clear I am not positive it is from 1948. And there are references (on a few of the other pages connected) to earlier years. I can't be for sure but when I got it I remember thinking (and maybe it was advertised as such) as it being from the 1950s. I think if we say circa 1950 we will be very close. The other articles do look to be earlier than 1960, closer to 1950.

No they are different, they have 1 line of name, team and mine (ours) mine and Leon's have the team under the name forming 2 lines.

Also ours have actual magazine articles printed on the backs where that repro booklet won't have that.

You should cut them up and send them in to get graded. :D

Don't forget the T205 Cobb from a 1956 Gentry magazine issue, a card I owned at one point (my father got it for me when I was 12 from an antiques dealer in Becket, Massachusetts who thought it was a real tobacco card (as did I at the time!) I think that one had a blank back though, although my copy was mounted. H&S had one a couple of years ago: http://mar10.hugginsandscott.com/cgi...l?itemid=19042

I think I paid $18, it's pretty nice.

That Gentry Cobb is very large, about the size of a 1955 Bowman card.
