[QUOTE=Sean1125;1030763]Hey guys, just had a local guy sell me his collection. There was quite a few autos in there. I got it cheap enough that the cards cover anything these autos wouldn't bring if authentic.
Anywhere here are the autos: I did not think the Koufax was good, the S looked off and normally his sig seems to bed one with more finesse, but maybe someone can tell otherwise. Hi Sean, I can help with a few: The Ryan Topps card is not real The Ryan ball is real although fading The Ryan postcard is autopen You are correct that the Koufax ball is bad, IMHO I hope this helps |

Kell, Tiant, Chapman = Good. |
Sewell looks good, Ripken looks off-never seen him sign the "r" in Jr. and I have not seen an "R" in Ripken connect to the I. However, I am not an expert.

I'm hoping the Ripken is an early sig, I know how much they can vary.
I didn't check it before I got the lot, but I don't see how any person with half a brain would try to forge a Ripken Jr on a decently expensive card. If a Ripken expert can chime in that would be great. Here is a PSA/DNA similar one pulled from an e-bay auction - but of course they cut the picture off at the J.....: http://i828.photobucket.com/albums/z...-11/img886.jpg Sean |

Yeah in looking at that Cal, it just didn't look right, haven't seen that style of his sig before...hopefully it's an early rookie signature

Ripken
The ripken card is NG, at least nothing I have seen working with him since 1991.
did PSA cert that ball? or did seller put it in a psa ball holder |
