Benny Friedman Footballer Autograph question
2 Attachment(s)
Have been trying to determine if the signature on the photo is a Vintage version of Football Hall of Famer Benny Friedman's autograph or a secretarial. Also attached is his WW II draft card which is signed in the lower right. The "B" appears to be dead on but there are more differences than similarities in the LAST name on the photo. Neither of them seem to match the later in life signatures of Friedman that I've seen. Any football collectors opinions welcome. I'm stumped.

Just wondering if the draft card would have been for another Benjamin Friedman going by the dates 1877-1897 at the top of the card. Suggests that the card was pertinent to the WW1 era instead of WW2.

Someone else's draft card. The player was born in 1905. Also, the signer put Benjamin Friedman M.D. as his employer--the FB player had nothing to do with the medical field--he went from school to the NFL to a career coaching FB.

Must be different Friedman, because the 1940 census has him living with his wife at
#12 Waverly Place, Hempstead, Nassau NY pretty far from Roxbury Mass. |
Just my opinion, but I like the signature compared to others I have had in the past.
