therefore the seller thinks of them as new and perfect? Just sort of amazed at the starting bid price on several auctions on eBay right now for small groups of t206s in not great condition. Have I just lost touch for what these cards should be worth?

I saw them this morning, as well. I am not sure where he is getting his data from but His opening bid is higher than the cards are worth by a good bit. They are rough. I dunno. Maybe he meant to say Jamaica?:D
