You should look into vintagecardprices.com. Also search eBay completed auctions for recent sales and you can get a good idea of market value for commonly sold cards like this.

As far as the original question goes, it's hard to judge a card on grade alone. If that 2.5 was graded that way only because of a minor flaw and it looks more like a 5, then it should go for more than the average sales. If you're looking for the avg sales of a normal looking 2.5 matty, then that's a different story. Check eBay completed listings and cardtarget.com to help you out a bit.
