A Ty Cobb autograph with a Christopher Morales COA.

As if the $140 buy it now wasn't enough of a red flag.

First time I've seen a Morales LOA in person. Pretty impressive that the word count of his "accomplishments," placed prominently at the top of the page, outweighs what he has to say about the item being authenticated. I gotta say, even if I knew nothing else about the guy, I would be leery of anyone who seriously put that thing together. Usually, when someone feels the need to tell you up front that they're "all that," they aren't.

Oh, but the AOL e-mail address does tell me that he's on the cutting edge of technology.

I love that it's on a modern post it note. haha!

Sold! Which one of you guys snatched up this bargain?!

RichardSimon 04-04-2013 06:21 AM

The buyer had 173 feedback, he is not a newbie.
What is the matter with these people, how stupid can he be?

jgmp123 04-04-2013 06:32 AM

So the buyer will trash the morales cert and sell with no cert or a "guarantee to pass" and double/triple his money

RichardSimon 04-04-2013 06:42 AM

So the buyer is either stupid or a crooked re-seller.
Nice choice.

Neither of those things can ever be cured totally. The first person has it built in to be stupid, not just if he/she doesn't know what a Cobb looks like, or Morales reputation, but they just don't understand the cheamp price alone is a red flage.

The other person may be worse. Once they get into a scam, always into one. They can say they will stop, and never do. Its like an addiction.

Knowledge, and common sense..Damn, they are the most valuable things to have, but some people refuse to believe that.

Unfortunately, there is no idiot vaccine.

It is an addiction to easy money. For those people it is a hard habit to break.
I have yet to see a rehab place for an addiction to easy (albeit, crooked) money.
