o/t Where's My Ebay Saved Search Results?
 

Anybody else not getting some (or all) of the daily e-mails for their eBay Saved Searches?

I've had lags before where I wouldn't get the e-mails for a couple days and then they would resume, but the last Saved Search e-mail I got was on April 8, where I normally get at least 30 e-mails a day (2 accounts, maxed out at 100 saved searches each, and I can manually click through to the searches and see that there have been multiple new postings that are matches in that time frame).

I'm also wondering if it has something to do with the complexity of the search, as all of the ones that have gone missing have many exclusions [ -() ] to eliminate undesirable results (even more now that the wildcard searches are disallowed). I actually have a third account just to be able to have more Saved Searches, and it's about 50/50 on which Search e-mails come through on it, with the absent ones being more complex.

Anybody experiencing anything similar or have any special insight into this problem? It's impossible to get any meaningful response of out eBay themselves.

I haven't had anything like that happen to me, but have had several 1-2 day lags like you mention. When I first started signing up to receive emails of my searches a few years back, it was like clockwork (I think coming in around 7am daily).. now it's all over the place. Sometimes at midnight, sometimes between 1am and 6am, and sometimes skipping days. eBay has gotten pretty erratic with this.. among other things.

Did your serahces use wildcards?
 

I am no longer getting any Ebay searches that use * for the wildcard. I am getting all of those that don't use this symbol.

Bluntly, Ebay totally screwed up discontinuing the use of the *. Just try to search for a 1952 Topps card. You can't find them with all the new glossy junk and reprints on there.

Rather than replace my wildcard seacrhes, I've just stopped using the searches at all.

Wonder when Ebay will notice that my bid activity has decreased by over half?
