Am I missing something?

Looking to get a '54 Jackie Robinson as part of my goal of obtaining 1 card from each Topps set from 1951-now. The only standards is that it have at least decent eye appeal and not hugely expensive since it's more of a side project. Condition doesn't mater a lot as long as it looks OK. This Robinson card on eBay seems to meet the criteria and the price is right but the fact that it has no bids is concerning to me. Is it trimmed? Or have someother huge qualifer?

Looks alright to me. For price comp, I sold a PSA 4 for $100 about 6 months ago.

The card looks ok to me. I can't speak as to why it has no bids yet.

The seller on the other hand sure sends up a red flag though. He's sold 1 item in his 6 years on eBay and that wasn't even recently. And then he lists a lot of Mantles, Mays, Aarons, etc all at once? Seems kind of odd to me.

One of each topps year is a great idea. Have you thought about graded cards. I have found that if you stick fast to one grade 3 or 4 or 5 or whatever if the eye appeal is good. It makes for a beautiful evenly matched graded collection. (see my small football collection in "albums") I understand if you prefer "raw"" many do. I used to be just raw cards myself but now I am down sizing and sticking with PSA. :)Dave.

I am getting graded cards but do have a coupon for PSA for 6 graded cards so I figure that I can get some "Raw" cards and use them to get them graded.

Low bids are probably due to low seller feedback. Looks okay for the price.
