Post your pictures of stacks or piles of raw cards. No graded slabs, plastic sleeves or plastic toploaders permitted.

Here's a shot I posted when I first joined this forum back in Dec of '09. It was my t206 collection at that time. I had my cards in that cigar box for about 25 years.

Epilogue: Each card has now been put into a card saver. I guess what I gained in card protection I lost in hobby innocence. oh well.

Still one of my favorite pics ever posted to Net54!

I've since added about 30 to my T206 Cubs master set run, but this was the grid I made a couple months ago.

1955 Topps....
 

Not vintage for some of you, but here are some stacks and piles of 1955 Topps....

Even less vintage are these stacks of the limited edition 2013 Topps cards behind the counter, waiting to be handed out, at the Topps booth during All-Star Fanfest earlier this year. These are the cards where, if you buy three packs of Topps cards and open them at the Topps booth, you get to pick one of these cards.

What a beautiful thread. I will openly admit to copying several photos, just to have as part of my gallery when my computer goes to sleep mode.

As a relative novice to vintage collecting (5+ years now), these images are just jaw-dropping.

Once again, not vintage for some of you, but here is a stack of several hundred 1953 Topps cards....

Here are a few T206s

not sure about anyone else but those rubber bands scare me. even if the cards are in top loaders.

I had the same reaction; it made me cringe

You missed it. It is actually a rubber band collection. The top loaders are just there to help maintain an isostatic stretch, the preferred state for storing vintage elastics.:D

the worst part is those aren't even the hard top loaders. those are basically just a double thick plastic sleeve. if they were the hard ones the cards wouldn't be bending like it looks like they are

Incredible grouping John... I really don't understand why these aren't more collected than they already are. Simply a beautiful set!
