Very sad to hear this just now from my wife before I saw this thread. RIP Prince, you brought me a lot of good hours of dancing back in the day....

First Merle and now Prince this year in music sucks.

dunno leon...this is your 2nd reference to "Dancing" I've seen. show us some moves...video please?

So glad I got to see him a few years ago at the Dakota jazz club in Mpls. Was truly an amazing experience. RIP.

Man, Prince was prolific. The amount of songs he wrote for other artists is amazing as well. I keep saying, there is a 10-15 year max window to see these iconic artist/bands from the 70's and 80's. Many will be dying off within that span. See them while you can.

Very sad. Big fan of Prince and his music. Reading reports that his death may be AIDS related. Wish he would have said something while he had the time. I'm sure it would have meant something to people to know they weren't alone.

Too young. Impacted my youth in a big way, musically.

Price is one of the reasons I love music. He also happened to be my Wife's favorite artist. He was an amazingly talented man. His legacy will live on as long as people play music. "Dearly beloved we are gathered here today to get through this thing called life."

Sad news to hear. Paisley Park is 10 mins from my house and I drive by it all the time. He was a legend in Minnesota.

Extremely rare for me to feel this bad about a celebrity's death.
As others have said, I was very fortunate to have seen a few live shows.
