Are there any ....

Players other than Yogi Berra who is in every Bowman set from 1948 to 1955 AND every topps set from 1952 to 1955?

Mdmtx 12-20-2016 02:32 PM

I see that Rizzuto was also in all those sets

Andy pafko is in all the bowman and 52 topps . Idk about the other topps .

Exhibitman 12-20-2016 07:13 PM

Berra was also in a 1951 Topps set.

Rizzuto was in the 1948 Leaf set too. I don't know of anyone else with that trifecta.

Now name the guy with active player cards by Bowman Fleer Leaf and Topps.

I would guess Ted Williams.

Still sticking with Ted in vintage but 100's if not 1000's of modern players would fit having active cards from those 4 companies.

Williams is correct

Now name the player who is the only person as an active player to hit this grouping of sets:

Goudey, Play Ball, Leaf, Bowman and Topps

Exhibitman 12-21-2016 04:25 AM

Dom DiMaggio?

Harford20 12-21-2016 06:47 AM

Williams again (if you count the Goudey Premiums, hehe).

At work so just guessing Luke Appling?

Rich Klein 12-21-2016 09:44 AM

I don't count the Goudey premiums so Williams is not correct

Luke Appling missed Play Ball believe it or not

Dom DiMaggio also missed Goudey

PS

I was fascinated by Mike Dugan's comment in the other section about playing tennis; Here is some proof from his youth

Bobby Doerr.

Rich Klein 12-21-2016 05:16 PM

Bobby Doerr is correct. He is the only player with this combination
