Tons of Tobacco and Caramel at Parsippany 5/1 Auction

Hey gang,

It's almost the first Tuesday of the month and the planets have aligned so that I have more Tobacco and Caramel than ever before at the auction on May 1st. Nothing earth-shattering, but 39 lots of pre-war is nice for a 100 lot auction!

Please check it out. If you can't be present to bid post in this thread and maybe one of the regulars will get in touch and place a bid for you. If this auction of prewar goes too cheaply I may have to institute some form of absentee bidding maybe exclusive to Net 54 Members so that I can take care of my faithful consignors.

Hopefully someone can lend a hand....Good luck

And Good luck with the auction, Scott. Your auction netted me more on consignment than I was selling the cards for at local shows!

Over the last couple months I've seen or had people ask for help bidding on items at the Parsippany auction. As long as it doesn't get out of hand, I'm more than happy to help any contributing board members if it is something I would normally not bid on. When I go, I typically bid on things like T206, T205, and caramels either for my personal collection or to resell. Even within those sets, I may be willing to make exceptions for specific cards (think 1 or maybe 2, not "all _____") and I am convinced you won't just try to flip it.

Thanks Leon the support from the board in general and you specifically has been fantastic. There are definitely always some bargains at the auctions, but quality items usually find their level.

I appreciate it DJ, as one of my better customers, being willing to lend a hand is above and beyond the call. Any other members who attend that are willing to help out?

On an unrelated note pictures are now available at the link in the OP.
