I don’t know the issue well enough to comment on authenticity. However, I do believe it’s trouble when anyone buys that kind of card, unslabbed, online without inspecting in person. And if someone buys it and finds it’s fake, well that’s entirely on them.

No it isn't on them. He has it listed as 1925. THat would be an extremely easy return. But again, looks real to me though I am not 100%, I am very close to it. If it didn't have holes I would be a bidder, easily.

ps.. want to add, I do think people need to be smart and take accountability. It is dangerous, many times, to buy online and unseen in person.

At first glance I thought it was real...then the stock started looking weird to me...esp the back. But compared to others it looks similar.

So maybe it is real?

Looks like a genuine 1925 Champions to me. He's also selling a spot-on 1921 Jack Johnson with major water damage. Of course nothing is 100% except in person.
