Clark Griffith Real????

Folks, I would really like to know if this real or fake. Would love to have it in my collection. What's it worth please? Thanks!!!

You’re not going to probably get a large amount of responses on this one. Griffith died in 1955 and Giles became president in 1951. Baseball “daters” might be able to pin down when this ball was made. I think it has a good chance of being real, but I would be careful.

Not the best picture, but this is one I obtained from Jim Stinson.

I'm not loving it ... IMO . For many reasons it doesn't look good .
|
I agree it looks a little hokey, but his signature was different on balls. I’ve never had a ball but have seen a few that look like this.
|
No good.

It appears the consensus is that this is not good. I would have loved this in my collection if real. I guess I'll pass on it.

It sold for $330.00 to someone, which would be a golden deal if it was real.
|
If Case was casing it it's probably Clark Griswold, not Griffith
