1963 sadaharu oh card

I saw this card in a consignment shop on the right in my photo for $45. It has chipping along the top edge but otherwise nice condition. I have no experience with Japanese cards and internet searches tell me that is on the high side by about $10. These were all hand cut and are not scarce, right? Thanks

Can you upload it somewhere else and then post the link? Hard to tell anything with a tiny sideways image. Did you happen to take a picture of just that card?

I think it was likely just an inopportune time to be lazy and abbreviate.

The corners are straight and does not look hand cut. Worth ~$50? (Sorry about that!)

Looks like an awesome card of an all-time great, if that's what your looking for. If you get it graded by PSA, they'll likely give it a MC (miscut) qualifier because of the image from the next card on the left edge.

The card is from the 1964 JCM 14g set. The list price in Engel's guide (the Japanese card version of Beckett) is $175, which I suspect is a bit higher than the market, but certainly 50$ is not a bad deal for it.
Side note to the guy who said "Jap": I'm not Japanese but my wife and both my children are. I'll respectfully ask you not to use the term because you insult my kids when you do so. |

Clearly looks hand cut to me but they are allowed to be thats how they were issued its not like a hand cut 1980 topps card it is like a strip card or other that that is how they were distributed. Hand cut isn't bad when thats how they were intended to be issued.

In the future I could see myself collecting his cards. Seems like it be fun and interesting. |
