Question about selling/consigning sets
I have a few 70’s Topps sets and I currently have no plans to sell. I have, however, considered selling a couple in the past. I have only sold a few sets (a couple on EBay and a couple here on the BST), but I have never consigned or sold to a dealer. Do dealers prefer ungraded sets that they buy or take on consignment to be shipped to them in sheets, toploaders, etc.?

I prefer to buy sets in whatever they were
originally housed in. The less they are handled, the better. The most ideal situation is when they are in binder pages. This is the easiest way to review a complete set in my opinion. If you were selling sets to me, I would advise you to leave them in whatever state they are currently in as long as they are secure and safe from damage. |
