Open For Bidding - Love of the Game Auctions' Fall Premier Auction

Hi Everyone!

Just a note to let you know that the LOTG Fall Premier Auction is open for bidding.

The auction closes on Saturday, November 30 - Thanksgiving weekend.

I hope you'll take a look, as we're really proud of this one. The auction features probably our coolest selection of display materials and companion pieces that we've ever offered, plus a strong selection of game-worn items from the Ted Patterson collection.

We've also got a great selection of prewar cards in this auction, a nice selection of higher-grade 1960s complete sets, and something different for us - a great grouping of prewar golf cards.

Though there are still a few tweaks being added and some descriptions being uploaded, the auction is open for bids right now. If you've got any questions, feel free to reach out to me privately at info @ loveofthegameauctions.com.

Good luck bidding!

+1. Really some great items and some that are unique. I have bids in and am hopeful! Good luck to everyone (except those bidding on what I want!)

Strong Joe Jackson price already, man I'm out of touch on the value of these. Should have grabbed one years ago.

If we eliminate the number on the flip that our friends at PSA have placed on this superior example of Jax's 1914 CJ and judge it solely based on its eye appeal and quality, I think it's still a great deal at it's current level.

Agreed Tony, beautiful card!

I have a feeling some of us are in the running for that Jax. Fingers crossed.

Yes, it's likely one of us will win it, and it's also likely another one of us will start a thread talking about how someone "overpaid" for the card.

The thread of overpaying might be started by the winner too. :)
How many of us have overpaid for a card? Take one step back. (no one left forward)

Al, great auction, good luck.

Bicem 11-29-2019 08:50 PM

You were definitely right Tony!

I think there are only 3 of these graded by PSA.

Great moment in baseball history and GREAT INVESTMENT PIECE:
