Help with identifying a mitt!

This glove came out of my great grandpa’s attic. He bought the house in 1947, and the house was built sometime in the 1900’s. He said (yes, I asked him in person 4-5 years ago) that this glove amongst a couple others were in the attic when he bought the house.

All I can make out is “The Scoop Model”, and a signature that resembles something like “Frank Piglok”, or Piglar, Figlar, something like that. Who can identity this mitt? Also, should I have it restored? If so, who can do it?

I hope this helps,

I just Googled "scoop model mitt" and one answer came back with a Frank Pytlak model on eBay.

My apologies! I uploaded the photos but can’t seem to find them. I’m working on a photobucket upload now
