Address Request for Bob Robertson...

Greetings!

Do any of you happen to have a book with addresses of former players? If so, could you please PM the address for Bob Robertson? Bob played for the Pittsburgh Pirates in the late 60's/early 70's and the Mariners in the late 70's. I have a baseball card that I would like for him to sign.

Thank you!

Brad

Thank you very much! I didn't think about him doing a show. The prices are very reasonable IMO -- only $15 for a mail-in autograph. I am 4 hours away from the show. That's a bit further than I want to drive.

Bob Robertson is a local legend around Western Maryland. He grew up 15 minutes away from where Lefty Grove and I grew up. I saw him in 1989. That was my senior year and last year of high school baseball. We had a scrimmage with another team and Bob was there giving the first baseman on the other team some tips.

There are stories about him hitting the ball 500 feet in high school. He was good at a lot of different sports, including baseball and basketball.

You're welcome!

I live in Philly now but I'm originally from Baltimore.

I made my wife stop with me in Lonaconing when we went to Wisp Mountain a few years ago. Next up is going to Sudlersville for Jimmie Foxx.

According to info on Sportscollectors.net, Bob hasn't really signed TTM since Feb 2020.

For $15, I'd send the card through the paid signing.

Thank you. Does "paid signing" mean that he goes to the show, but does not sign autographs in public (so no meet-and-greets)?

In this case it appears that Bob Robertson will actually be doing a public appearance at the annual Pittsburgh show, hosted by the reputable company Mainline Autographs. They are based in the Pittsburgh area I believe. The show features lots of Pittsburgh related athletes doing signings all weekend. You can find details about the show and guest appearances here:

https://www.mainlineautographs.com/pittsburgh-show/

Looks like Robertson is appearing on Saturday with the signing time still TBA. His in person fee at the show is $25 per autograph (any item). The SportsCollectors.net member that is taking mail-in items for all the guests looks to be affiliated with Mainline Autographs, as the PayPal address listed for payments is the Mainline email addy. His $15 per card fee would appear to be bulk pricing for a backroom private signing (he is accepting cards only for mail-in). That member is also reputable on SCN with a good track record of handling these signings.

Good luck!
