When Mike above mentioned Clete Boyer I relooked at it closely and thought he had it right. Then I found his 57 Topps card and he has a very similar glove to the one in the photo I posted.

Now I see Twig16 agrees so I think that puts it to bed.

I saw Clete Boyer hit his first home run, it was at Briggs Stadium in August,1956. First game I ever saw. KC beat the Tigers 5 to3.
That was a long while ago, I believe Hoss Radbourn was pitching for Detroit.
