Not much feedback on the seller. He also has a 1970 Cello Pack with series 2 Munson Rookie on top and Series 4 Jackson All Star on the bottom. I thought the Cello was released in series? He does have the outer box.

This post really needs some photos from the listing.

That's a pretty rough box for such a mint pack on that 70 Munson. Looks cool if you ask me but faked all the way.

Understand I'm not questioning the experience of anyone here in spotting fakes, but I am curious - Why would someone put together a fake pack with the most desirable card in the set in it? Is part of this a suspicion that the Munson is faked as well?

I am no expert but the pack looks tight, and are we confident that, in 1971, quality control was good enough that cards from different series couldn't show up with each other in packs?

I'm genuinely curious to understand this better.

Thanks!

Price of a 1971 Munson in nice condition but miscut: $50. Sale price of an authenticated 1971 cello pack: $3,000. Add a chase card that people can't see would only grade a 6(MC) on the back, and it's worth even more.

Without helping the crooks the following aren’t even close: wrapper, grain alignment of cards, gum placement….
