Dinner plans… can’t wait

I am beyond excited for a nuce family dinner tonight in Portsmouth NH… my kids and their friends rrad about this over the summer and we've been planning a visit for months!

i may have to make a vintage card donation to the new young owners to pay the love of old-timey baseball forward!

Check out this article - and i'll add dinner reviews and photos soon - now, do i wear my Clemente, Brett or Williams retro jersey to dinner?? 🤔⚾️🤔⚾️

Very cool - including a pack of cards with the kids meal is a nice touch.

Looking forward to your review :)

Hello again, I wanted to give a quick review of our dinner out last week at the new baseball themed restaurant in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

The food was great. Although expected it to be more of a sit down restaurant experience, it was really more of a high-end sandwich shop. The restaurant is physically smaller than I expected but the chef/owner was lovely and very approachable.

It’s a nice little place, but probably could use some suggestions to really pull in the big Time baseball crowd like all of us.

I would give it a try if you are in the area. I’m a little ashamed to admit that I bought the “pinstripe” sandwich, which was delicious. As a Red Sox fan, I hope I am forgiven!

Food looks great- question? Do they offer beer?? Would be cool to have offerings from different parks.

I frequently meet friends in Portsmouth for beer and burgers so might have to check this out.

Here's a link to their web-site- https://www.behindtheplatenh.com/about

They sure do serve beers... and I forgot to mention that they have a clever list of cocktails too
