Is this Joe Montana good?

I know NOTHING about football but picked this up with other random paper items. Any chance it's good? Thank you for the help.

Always a chance but sorry. No. Just my opinion.

Thank you for weighing in. I was leaning towards no based on other examples I found online.

Agree, that it's not good but I've always thought his signature was so sloppy, even amongst his contemporaries. I picked up a cheap example, one of the leaf cards, about a year ago for a GOAT auto little project I was working on... it's really on par with modern players who basically just sign initials. The saddest part was that the only thing that was distinctive about his auto, the "pump" on his T was now just a loop. Was debating getting the RC I have of his signed at a PS but after seeing the example I just purchased, along with the absurd signing fee of $1200 for a RC, I took a pass. Still one of the greatest QBs ever.

Yeah, I was surprised until I looked around and saw the prices other people are charging. Don't really care about there being no margin for dealers/flippers, but it's beyond uneconomical. I had Kareem Abdul Jabbar sign some older vintage cards right before things took off during COVID. He was charging $100 a piece, which I thought was high but wanted the cards signed anyway. Once of his handlers called me once they received the cards to say the price was now $300 a card... long story short, they honored the original $100/card but immediately jacked up prices afterwards... probably even higher now. It's no longer the old days where you could meet a HOFer at a show for $20 and get a pic and auto.
