Parade Sportive Assistance

Posted By: Andy Baran
Hi Everyone,

I recently purchased a 1946 Parade Sportive Jackie Robinson, and the measurements of the item that I bought are slightly different than what Lemke has listed in the SCD. I don't see any evidence of trimming, so I'm wondering if it is possible that the measurements in SCD are inaccurate. If you own any Parade Sportive's, please contact me with the measurements, or post them here. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Andy

Posted By: Bottom of the Ninth
There are reprints out there. I have the Roby and the team card. Both were obtained from someone in Canada. The Roby measures 9 9/16 x 5 and the team card measures 8 5/16 x 5 3/32.

Greg

Posted By: Andy Baran
Greg,

Thanks for the help. My Robby has the exact same measurements as the team card that you listed. It came from a very knowledgible dealer, so I am sure that it is not a reprint. My only concern was possible trimming, because the measurements are different than those listed in the Standard Catalog. It looks like the Standard Catalog measuremnts are in fact inaccurate. Bob L, can this be updated in future additions?
