Paypal refunds to credit cards issue
 

Posted By: <b>warshawlaw</b><p>A seller refunded my purchase price, paid with a credit card. The refund shows as complete in the paypal history but my credit card issuer has nothing showing. The Paypal help info says it can take up to 30 days for the refund to hit your card. Has anyone else dealt with this situation?

Posted By: <b>Judge Dred (Fred)</b><p>I've had a paypal CC refund and it only took a few days, but that was paypal before ebay took them over. In the world of ebay and paypal you just don't know what to expect. If they said 30 days then I guess that's what they're going to stick you with. As long as it's shown as a credit on the paypal account I would hope that it's reliable. <br /><br />If it's a matter of getting stuck with it in the middle of a billing cycle then I'd just write the credit amount off the bill with a note to the CC company telling them why the payment is short. Better yet, you can always go through the hassle of calling the CC company and having them annotate your account so that thet don't hit you up with all those charges if you don't pay your entire balance during that billing cycle.
