1933 Goudey Question

Posted By: Nate
Are there any variations in the color of the cardboard stock used in the printing of 1933 Goudeys, or variations in the color of the green ink found on the back of the cards? Does any one tone of cardboard stock of green ink indicate a reprint in any which way? Thanks.

1933 Goudey Question

Posted By: Elliot
The lower number cards are made from a softer cardboard than the rest of the cards. That's one of the reasons that they are tougher to find in high grade. The paper also has a slight color difference from the rest of the series.
