Posted By: <b>davidcycleback</b><p>A lot of the signed T206s and same era caramel cards were obtained by a famous old time autograh collector named Jeffrey Morey. He started collecting autographs before they were worth anything. For one of the Cobb autographs, perhaps this T206, Morey said he asked Cobb to autograh it in a cafeteria while Cobb was eating breakfast or lunch. I beleive the PSA website has an article about Morey in their archives.<br /><br />You will commonly see sport and non-sport autographs personalized to Roy Pitts who was another famous old time autograph collector, from Alabama.
