Are you thinking about forging one out of paper clips and snot?<br /><br />Generally speaking, that card would be worth just a bit higher than what the second highest bidder was willing to pay for it. It's a one-off type situation, to which anticipating bids is not going to get you the right answer.<br /><br />North of $8,000, I would guess.

Also, the card is worth more than 12k if other HOF T206's are going for 20k and a Willie Keeler went for 16k a year or two ago. If you think its only worth 12k so be it but I was just trying to conjure up some interesting conversation about T206 HOF cards or T206 commons and their market in general.

Do you think all Harris cards carry a premium vs. others just like it? I not just talking high priced HOF but commons also.

I think most "Ole school" collectors consider the Harris tag on the card as negative versus a positive. Besides, I would say 15-20% of the cards have already been reholdered. <br /> Be well Brian

Posted By: <b>MVSNYC</b><p>Chance batting is definitely worth less than a Keeler...they are not on the same level, as far as HOFers go. plus, as i mentioned earlier, the batting pose is less desirable then his 2 port cards...<br /><br />as far as Harris cards, i have owned a few 9's, they get a bad wrap, if you pick up any 10 random T206 cards, the size and centering on all 10 will all be different...these were hand cut 100 years ago guys, let's not forget that.
