T206 Confirmed Master Checklist (Formerly Consider an EPDG set....how tough is it ?)
 

Posted By: <b>markc</b><p>I would like to broaden the EPDG discussion to ask whether anyone has confirmed each of the possible T206 front / back combinations. Scott Reader included a master checklist in "Inside T206: A Collector's Guide to the Classic Baseball Set", but just because a front / back combination is theoretically possible, doesn't mean that it has actually been seen in the wild.<br /><br />Taking this one step further, it would be interesting to figure out how many copies of each card exist...particularly of the rarer backs. For example, maybe only a couple of Drum sheets were printed, so perhaps we should only expect a few of each card to exist. <br /><br />The T-card collectors and dealers on this board have surely had thousands of T206's pass through their hands, and I expect that we could put together a pretty comprehensive list. I would certainly be willing to help pull together the data.<br /><br />Or maybe it's already been done. Thoughts???
