Where's MVSNYC?

Posted By: Jeff Lichtman
Michael, the shops in Cooperstown are shockingly lame - unless you're planning on buying a Louisville Slugger with your name burned on it. Any cards you may find are as overpriced as Levi's on a 10 cent ebay listing day...

Where's MVSNYC?

Posted By: MVSNYC
i know Jeff...we have been coming up here for about 15 years...Mickey's Place used to be good, when Tom owned it (Mickey's best friend)...i believe he had health issues, unfortunetly and had to sell. we have family in Albany, so we come up here once or twice a year, stay with my family, then have lunch at Doubleday Cafe...that's the extent of the visit, although we might step foot in the Hall this year, have not been inside for about 5 years...so i am sure they have some new exhibits (or at least i assume they do).

Where's MVSNYC?

Posted By: MVSNYC
well, just wanted to give you guys an update...it has been a while since i stepped foot in the HOF, but let me tell you, they have done an amazing job renovating/updating the exhibits and facilities, real state of the art...i strongly urge anyone who has not been there in a while (or never at all), to go up there and visit, especially now that the weather is great!

was impressed with the display of every world series program since 1903 and the wall with a baseball from every no-hitter.

lunch @ doubleday cafe, then picked-up a limited edition litho of Shoeless Joe @ National Pastime...will look sweet when i get it all framed-up.

Hal- your wagner looks great!
