Posted By: Bruce Babcock
I loved this show! When I was eight this was about the only way you could see and hear these guys talk. If I remember correctly, at that time there was only a single nationally televised "game of the week." No ESPN, no Sportscenter.

Posted By: Bill Stone
Since both American League and National League players were involved I assume this was filmed in the off-season but would be curious to know the details of when it was filmed. As a boy I lived in Burbank,California but moved in 1959 so I wouldn't have seen this in person although the Los Angeles PCL team played the Hollywood Stars at Wrigley Field so I was familar with the ballpark. Glad to see them bring this back.

Posted By: Miguel Danielson
I was wondering if my memories of this show were a figment of my imagination. I watched in the mid 80s, when they replayed them on a local cable outlet. It was a great way to get some exposure to a few of the stars of that era. I remember it being the first time I had ever heard of Rocky Colavito, pre-occupied as my world was with Don Mattingly, Wade Boggs, and all the come-and-go rookies of the 80s.
