Pre-War Baseball Card Donations
Posted By: T206Collector
I donated 9 T206 cards to the New York Public Library today. They were the "common" cards missing from the Goulston T206 collection of 456 T206 cards, which includes the Wagner. Thanks to the Net54'ers that helped me get these cards so quickly to fill the minor hole in that near set. I just thought it was a fun thing to do. (If you'd like to hear more about the Goulston collection, you can read about my visit to the library in an article I put together on my website by clicking the link below.)

Anyway, it got me to thinking about whether anyone else has ever donated any pre-war baseball cards -- for any cause whatsoever. Anyone got any good stories of giving that might put people into a charitable frame of mind?

- - - - - - - - - -

Visit http://www.t206collector.com for signed pre-war card galleries, articles and more!
