Vintage between Omaha and Cape May, NJ

Posted By: Ed McCollum
Leaving on a road trip Friday night that will put us in Cape May, NJ by Sunday night. Stops along the way will be in Chicago, Pittsburgh, and Philadelphia on the trip. Most time will be in NJ. Anyone have suggestions of where to look for vintage cards while stretching our legs during the 21 hour drive to and back? Thanks.

Check-out the Lobster House
at the north end of Cape May....excellent dining.

But, there are no BB cards to be found in Cape May.

TED Z

Posted By: Ray Piskadlo
the Wildwood boardwalk (what the Jersey shore is all about) is within 10 minutes and Atlantic City within 30 min. I second the Lobster House. I grew up in northern NJ, but spent many summer days down there. And yes, we call it the shore, not the beach!

Widest beaches I've ever seen. Used to be my favorite place in high school.

Alas, Scott already bought all the vintage cards in NJ, unfortunately.

-Al

The Wildwood boardwalk hasn't changed much in 30 years since I used to go there with my parents.

The tram car announcement hasn't changed and every other shop is still an over priced t-shirt joint run by "youse" guys from North Jersey
