Nor Cal Pacific Coast League Player Reunion & Show August 23
Posted By: <b>Mark Macrae</b><p>On Saturday August 23, the 14th Annual Dick Dobbins PCL Player Reunion & show will be held at the Oakland Museum, 1000 Oak Street, in downtown Oakland. Hours are 10-3. Admission is $40 with lunch, or $5 without the lunch. More than two dozen players from the Pre 1958 era have confirmed so far. Eight exhibitor tables with exclusively PCL related material will be on display / sale in the morning. Several authors of PCL literature will be mingling among the hundreds in attendance. Those who have interest in the history of the PCL or want to meet some of the players from the Coast League before the Major Leagues came west should attend. Players are very generous with their time and enjoy sharing stories with the fans. Many will pose for pictures and sign autographs (Autographs are free, COA's are $35 each <img src="/images/happy.gif" height=14 width=14> ) . The list of attendees will not be published until the morning of the event and will be posted at the Registration Desk (10th Street entrance). Parking will likely be filled by 11 AM the museum is one block from the Lake Merritt BART station.
