I'm not saying it's unethical, but as a potential buyer I don't like being a pawn in negotiations and will back out if my offer is posted or if the back-and-forth negotiation takes to long. I usually give the buyer one or two counter offer and that's enough. A Donald Trump negotiation I am not.

i wouldn't want my offer to be the baseline for getting a better offer...i would IMMEDIATELY retract the offer if that's the case. might as well put it up for auction then. the forum's bst has been getting some very fair prices imo, w/o the fees.
