Default Wrigley Field Chicago Cubs clubhouse sign

I have for sale an original clubhouse sign that hung inside the Cub's clubhouse in Wrigley Field during the early to mid '80's. I had worked for the team during this time in the Stadium Operations department and we would change these signed from time to time as they would get worn. Since these signs were not exposed to the elements they were made of very thick cardboard and hung inside each Major League clubhouse at that time. Rules were in place to keep visitors out but they were not heavily enforced until after the Pirates drug scandal of the late 70's where pretty much anyone, including players "friends" who happened to be dealers had ready access to the clubhouse.

As mentioned previously this sign is made of heavy cardboard and has no creases or wrinkles. There is some slight wear around the upper right edge due to how it was displayed inside the clubhouse but that can be matted out easily. Even if you don't mat it out it is a still a very presentable piece. This piece is slightly larger than a normal sheet of paper and would be an excellent addition to a Wrigley Field collector, Cubs fan or just a game used collector.

I have sold two smaller signs on Ebay in the past that hung in the clubhouse (both were no smoking signs per league rules such as this one) but this is the largest I have owned. I am asking for 49.00 OBO delivered on this sign. Please let me know if you have any questions.

FYI...I could not get the complete sign on my scanner bed. Let me know if you would like to have a picture of the actual sign. There is only a small amount (less than a half inch) missing from this scan so not much was left off.
