I think you got a good deal too. I have been purchasing too much stuff lately to push it too hard. Either that or I need to refine my collection a little. As I said, I have two other 1936 versions (neither as good as this), but sometimes you just can't have them all. I really was thinking in that $1200 range too. Not sure where the other one came from for under $500 as I have seen just about every great pennant for sale either on Ebay or major auctions in the last 10-15 years and I never saw it. If you got it from a private party, congrats to you as I think you got a GREAT deal.

Thanks to Mike for posting those others. The Pirates and the Senators were the two others I was thinking of. No one has commented on thoughts about their origins. It seems too ironic that there are so few of these style pennants, but they span that much of a time period. Any thoughts on them being some kind of premium? I have never seen anything advertised for any of these though.
