Default Overseas National League Baseball - Spalding YMCA lookalike

I picked up this baseball earlier today at an estate auction. It is signed by the 1926 Phillies (not authenticated yet though). The ball intrigues me, because at first glance it looks very similar to a Spalding WWI YMCA baseball. In this ball however the YMCA logo triangle has Overseas instead of YMCA. Also the ball bears no spalding mark, and the lettering in National League is in a different style to Spalding balls of the period. Has anyone encountered this model baseball before? I am curious if it is some sort of knockoff of the Spalding YMCA ball, or perhaps it was made by Spalding, but forever reason not marked with Spalding's logo.
