Default 48-49 Leaf Gene Hermansk

This compilation are three Hermanski scans where I tried to line up the names. The middle has an SGC "error" flip, the bottom a PSA "error" flip. I was struck that the alignment of the letters looks to be the same in all three. Looking closer at the middle name, there appears to be a piece of the "I" there. I had always assumed that this was a spelling or typo error. Looking at this makes me think it was a printing error where ink got into the "void" that should have been the "I". Anyone else have this evolutionary piece on their Hermansk or additional info on the error?
