For the 1946 and 1947 seasons, Aaron Robinson was the Yankees Catcher. So, Yogi played in LF and RF. Bucky Harris (one of your guys)
told Bill Dickey to make a Catcher out of Yogi.
In the Spring of 1948, the Yankees traded Aaron Robinson (and others) to the White Sox for Eddie Lopat; therefore, making Yogi their new
Catcher.
