I agree. A $100 value limit on the $5 special is stupidly low for a company with a $hitty, basically non-existent registry. I can see PSA doing it to try and get people to put in their mainstream postwar cards for registry sets. I'd rather pay the extra buck a card for PSA's special just in case anything comes back a 9 or 10.
Not the way to build business and interest. About the same as PSA won't cut it. SGC has to be Avis: try harder.
I am not going to join the SGC club unless their specials are worthwhile. So far, not.
