I have the list!!! See below for what Johnny has for sale:


9 blank backs


1) Mcquillen bb(blank back)- very clean , graded, only example known, ghosted “P” on uniform

2) Stahl bb- very clean, graded, only example known , popular common tougher

3) H. wagner bb– very clean, graded, only example known, tiny part of next card on bottom, extra wide border

4) Grimshaw bb- only known example,( although writing on back ), another “eerie” card with the cool color shift and color missing on front

5) Fiene bb- only known example, (not graded but** guaranteed** auth blank back), orange color shift on front

6)B. byrne bb- only known example, graded, eerie reverse negative orange shift on front ghosted , very nice card

7) Moriarity bb- only known example, graded, extra wide borders, magenta overprint moriarity ghost on front, (was originally from 19th century only auctions of a neat group of these)

8) Willett bb- only known example, not graded, paper loss on back, but should still grade as “blank back”, but can’t guarantee it will-, upside down overprint error on front, missing color

9) Hallman bb only known example, graded, extra wide borders,( creased up but presentable), huge magenta image shift on front



2 yellow brown sc 460 f. #30 no overprint

1) Sweeney – graded, trimmed up tight but super clean back, creased front but very presentable, originally from b+l auctions

2) Mathewson- graded as “color variation” “skinned back” with flip from sgc, but not slabbed because”too fragile” on sgc card, will get slabbed if slabbed with a penny sleeve, although rough, very desirable



5 graded scraps

1) Starr- graded as”A” “ghost image” on flip, has a triple struck magenta image of starr on front, extra wide border

2) Burns- graded “A”,wild card although back has paper loss!!!, huge color shift on front, image printed over the right border, part of next card on front can be seen in orange, burns image on font double printed, name at top

3)Rossman- graded “A” , color missing, huge border, “high blue eyebrows” neat wild card, was originally in REA print scrap lot

4) Hunter- graded as “A”, missing color, wide border

5)Mclean- graded as “A”, missing color, huge “weird borders”, was purchased in same lot as leon’s multistrike from “little nemos comic shop” in N.Y.C



6 ungraded scraps

1) Griffith - “oaks tobacco advertisement” underprinted on back, a “hand” and 2 sets of “acorns” are underprinted on back, weird borders, proven to be an advertisement from American litho cica 1909 proved by chris browne, similar to “bitter’s lash “ ad underprints

2) Ganzel- completely missing flesh tone with yellows on face, wild card although some writing on front, weird borders

3) Chance - red “orange” port, missing flesh tone, confirmed scrap , although trimmed tight and some paper loss on back, possibly from same scrap sheet as one of the plank scraps

4) Spade- wild ,big, handcut cut borders, card is rough

5) Carrigan- wild, big, handcut borders, originally from REA printers scrap lot

6) Titus- missing color on front, epdg miscut back
