I won't belabor this discussion as I suspect there are members who prefer to stick to baseball cards. But, I do wish to make another point.
The ASPCA commercials are tough to take. I gave serious consideration to contributing to the organization, which is unrelated to local SPCAs, until conducting some internet research. As it turns out, a significant portion of ASPCA's revenues goes to advertising and administrative costs. For this reason I contribute to PetSmart Charities instead.
